Hardware requirements for running the GetGenius Node on your own devices

1 min read

At GetGenius Inc., we are committed to delivering the most advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. Our GetGenius Node, a decentralized node application, is a testament to this commitment. To fully harness the power of GetGenius Node, it’s essential to equip your system with the right hardware. Let’s delve into the specifics.

Supercharge Your Graphics with a High-Performance GPU #

GetGenius Node is a computational powerhouse, and a top-tier GPU is key to unlocking its full potential. We recommend the RTX 4090 or Nvidia Tensor Core graphics processor like the H100 or the Ampere (A100 / A40 / A30 / A6000) GPUs. These GPUs are designed to handle the high-level computations that GetGenius Node performs, ensuring seamless graphics rendering and optimal performance.

Boost Processing Speed with a Robust CPU #

At the heart of your system should be a powerful CPU. We recommend an Intel CPU of at least the 12th generation or an AMD Threadripper. These CPUs can handle the heavy lifting that GetGenius Node requires, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Enhance Performance with Ample RAM #

RAM is the lifeblood of any high-performance application, and GetGenius Node is no exception. We recommend a minimum of 32 GB RAM, with 64 to 128 GB for optimal performance. This allows GetGenius Node to store more data for quick access, speeding up processing times and enhancing user experience.

Ensure Adequate Storage with SSD/NVME #

Storage space is crucial for any AI tool, and GetGenius Node requires at least a 500 GB SSD or NVME hard disk, for larger instances or projects we recommend at least 1 terrabyte.

This disk space ensures that GetGenius Node can store all necessary data such as LLM models or stable diffusion checkpoints as well as temporary media and cache files and that no data can be lost even if the Internet or power supply is interrupted for a short time.

Highly available and high-performance Internet connection #

For stable and smooth operation of the software, it is essential that your servers are connected to the Internet around the clock in the best possible way. Your server therefore needs a server location with the best possible connection. You can find more information on this in our requirements for operating a GetGenius Node location.

Conclusion #

To take full advantage of GetGenius Node’s performance and efficiency, your system needs a powerful graphics processor, a robust CPU, sufficient RAM and adequate storage space. If you meet these requirements, you can realize the full potential of GetGenius Node and use our cutting-edge AI technology with unprecedented speed and efficiency.
